2020-21 Basketball Game Day Covid-19 Protocol

Due to the guidelines that have been set by Governor DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health the following protocol will be implemented for all home basketball games being played at Union Station for the 2020-2021 season.

Do not park on Hamilton Street.  The doors leading to Hamilton St are not to be used to enter or exit Union Station. Please park in parking lot. Only exception will be visiting teams.

The doors leading into Union Station from the parking lot will be ENTRANCE ONLY.  No one should exit Union Staton through those doors. The only exception to this would be following the last game.

When exiting the building please use the doors located on the northeast side of Union Station.  Turn right out of the gym.  At end of that hallway turn right.  Doors are located at the end of that hallway on the right.  Signs will be posted.

Due to occupancy limits for this year, only people living in the same house as the players may attend games.  For those unable to attend, you are welcome to watch the livestream of the games. Opposing players will be allowed 2 spectators per athlete.

Only JH families will be able to attend JH games.  Once JH game is over all spectators must exit gym and leave Union Station.  Same goes for JV and Varsity.  If your child is not playing, you must wait outside the building until previous game is over and all spectators have left gym.

Masks must be worn at all times once inside Union Station.

If anyone refuses to wear a mask, they will not be permitted to enter Union Station.

If anyone refuses to wear mask once inside the gym, they will be asked to leave.

The game will not start until said person(s) either puts on mask or leaves if asked to do so.

At any time, these protocols may be changed.

Thank you in advance for adhering to these protocols. We are thrilled that our students have the opportunity to compete this year, your help in following these temporary rules will help provide a smooth athletic season.

Calvary Christian School is committed to offering a sports program where the first priority of student athletes is to be a testimony of Jesus Christ in ALL they do.  Each student athlete will do this through the development and exercise of personal character, sportsmanship, self-discipline and athletic ability.  In victory or defeat, students are taught to demonstrate both grace and dignity.  Athletic teams at CCS are an integral part of our students all around academic experience.

Calvary Christian is a member of the OVCC (Ohio Valley Christian Conference) .  The OVCC is split into North and South divisions.  CCS will participate in the North division along with Dominion Academy, East Dayton Christian, Temple Christian School of Dayton, and Sidney Christian.  The South division consists of DePaul Cristo Rey, Immaculate Conception, Mars Hill, Milford Christian, and Royalmont and Spring Valley.  CCS is also a part of the OCSAA (Ohio Christian School Athletic Association) and participates in state tournaments in the junior and senior high school levels.  Currently, CCS offers the following sports, depending upon student interest
