School Activities & Awards:

NHS, Key Club, YLA, Drama, Band, Choir, Volleyball, Basketball, Track, Chapel Worship. 

Volleyball 1st Team All Conference, JV Basketball Best Offensive Player, 9 Varsity Track school records.

If I were Principal for the day:

I would cancel school for the day and take all students and staff to Cedar Point for free.

Favorite School Memory:

8th grade YLA trip to Columbus.

People Who Have Been an Inspiration to Me:

My pastor, my mom, and Mrs. Hermiller.

Lately, I have been reading:

The Bible

My advice to parents:

Take the time to listen and learn to understand your child.

My favorite Scripture verse:

Micah 7:7-8 As for me, I look to the Lord for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me. Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.

What I will be doing after high school:

I plan to go to college and major in accounting.

What I am looking forward to most after high school:

I look forward to marrying and raising a family to love the Lord.

What I will miss the most:

I will miss 9th period study hall.

If I were Principal for the day:

If I was principal for the day, I would bring in lots of food trucks and giant bounce houses! Our world needs more fun :)

Favorite School Memory:

I would say our class debates because they are intensely fun or going on the survival trips with Mr. D!

People Who Have Been an Inspiration to Me:

Parents, Mary Temple, Cheri Cooper, Sarah Wilson, Hannah Kilgore

Lately, I have been reading:

Heaven rules by: Nacy Wolgemuth (highly recommend)

My advice to parents:

I have two things: 1. Enjoy the little moments with your kids because one day they'll be the ones you cherish most. 2. Kids don't understand how much you sacrifice for them until they have to make their own choices, so just know that there will be a day when they come to truly appreciate and adore you for it.

My favorite Scripture verse:

Proverbs 4:23 “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

What I will be doing after high school:

I will be participating on a 9-month missionary expedition to four different countries. When I get back, I plan on going to college and majoring in Biblical counseling with a minor in intercultural communication.

What I am looking forward to most after high school:

I am excited to experience God in new challenging ways!

What I will miss the most:

I will miss the intentional relationships that I have built with my teachers. Also, the French toast sticks!

If I were Principal for the day:

If I were principal for the day, I would host a leadership and enrichment day. The school would invite local businesses to come out and talk to our students about their business and how they developed it. They could also set up a shadowing day for high school students so that they can learn about managing and developing a business.

Favorite School Memory:

My favorite school memories are from the drama each year. Late nights and backstage shenanigans make it my favorite season of year.

People Who Have Been an Inspiration to Me:

My parents, grandparents, sister, Mrs. Labelle, Mrs. Hermiller, Ms. LeCrone, Mrs. Wylie.

Lately, I have been reading:

The Other Half of Church by Jim Wilder and Michel Hendricks.

My advice to parents:

Don't underestimate the capability of your child. Giving them responsibilities and holding them accountable will encourage them to grow in confidence, discipline, and character. They will thank you later.

My favorite Scripture verse:

Philippians 4:6-7

What I will be doing after high school:

I will be attending college to study political science and business to pursue a career in law.

What I am looking forward to most after high school:

I am looking forward to meeting new people and seeing what God has in store for the next chapter of my life.

What I will miss the most:

I will miss all of my amazing friends and teachers and all of our fun conversations and debates.

National Honor Society, Key Club (secretary 2022-23), Senior Class Treasurer, YLA, FCA, track and field, honor roll, teacher's aide, choir, Spartan group leader, acted in all four school plays.

If I were Principal for the day:

I would cancel school.

Favorite School Memory:

It's hard to choose, so I'd say either the trip for YLA last year or Ms. LeCrone's geography class.

People Who Have Been an Inspiration to Me:

My parents, my grandma "Gaga", my friends, and each one of my teachers.

Lately, I have been reading:

I've been reading my Bible and basically any mystery book I can find.

My advice to parents:

Let your kids be kids. They are only young once and have the rest of their lives to have big responsibilities and pressures. Let them take control of their own learning and let them learn from their own mistakes.

My favorite Scripture verse:

James 1:22- "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says."

What I will be doing after high school:

I will be attending Cedarville University to major in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Business Administration.

What I am looking forward to most after high school:

I'm looking forward to going to my dream college and meeting new people!

What I will miss the most:

I will miss seeing my best friends every day, and just being a carefree kid.

I would give everyone a day off from school.

My favorite school memory is getting coffee once a week with my friend and my sister.

My advice to parents:

Allow your kids to be kids but still encourage them to work hard at everything they do.

What I will be doing after high school:

I will be attending college for counseling and possibly minoring in ministry.

What I am looking forward to most after high school:

I am looking forward to the new season of life I will get to walk through.

What I will miss the most:

I will miss hanging out with my friends at school.
