Our drama club puts on a spring play every year at CCS. Music Director Miss Saur leads this program.
The Calvary Christian School Jazz Band consists of those students who go above and beyond their musical journey in Concert Band and seek to understand and learn the jazz music style. The group performs at such events as the Veteran's Day concert, the Christmas Concert, and the annual Jazz Band Spaghetti Dinner.
The students participating in Jazz Band learn to hone their musical abilities for the glory of God in a different music style, and worship him through practice and performance.
The Calvary Christian Miler's Club is a spring time health and fitness club that encourages families to exercise together at CCS after school.
National Honors Society (NHS)
The Calvary Christian chapter of the national honors society performs the same role as our counterparts across the nation as we recognize our students for their scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Junior students who meet the rigorous standards required for entrance are inducted during an annual ceremony.
Noteworthy is an audition only choir for those who wish to go above and beyond in their vocal music pursuits. The students learn how to better their singing ability in various styles and learn how to balance and stay in tune in a capella music. The music is more challenging and the students have more opportunity to sing both at school and in the community.
Youth Leadership Association (YLA)
YLA is a student service organization that includes yearly retreats to camp horseshoe and youth in government weekend. During youth in government (YG), students from across the state take over our capitol building to see firsthand how our judicial, executive, and legislative bodies function.
Student Worship Band
Students 4th-12th grade are invited to lead several of our worship times at the start of weekly chapel services. This group is led by CCS music director Miss Saur and is another opportunity for students to develop and use the talents God has blessed them with to bring glory to Him.
