October - Ransom Lambert

Ransom Lambert, son of Tyan & Randy Lambert
School Activities and Awards:
Key Club, ASB, Drama Club, NHS, CCS Soccer, and FCA
Favorite School Memory:
Sled Day in Elementary school when we would bring our sleds and snow gear to go out on the hill at the old school to play till our hearts’ content. Although, the climb up the hill would be very exhausting.
Something I’m Passionate About:
I love the Lord, enjoying a good game of soccer, posting shorts on my YouTube channel, and having fellowship with my dear family and close friends.
People Who Have Been an Inspiration to Me:
I see my father as one who constantly reminds me of what a hardworking, kind, and loving man should look like. My mother whose heart is bigger than any other person I know and whose compassion could fill the world three times over. The seniors in the past, who set the path before me with integrity and grit. My Pastors who go about sharing the love of Christ to me and to those around me. My close friends, the ones I've known for many years, to the new ones I met only months ago whose joy and smiles impact me on a daily basis. Finally, my coaches and teachers, who build my confidence and character through their devotion to help me and other students.
Bible Verse That Has Had a Strong Impact on Me:
Proverbs 2:21, “For the upright will inhabit the land, and those with integrity will remain in it.”
Most Impactful High School Activity:
It’s a close call between Soccer and Drama, but it would have to be my Soccer career.
Current Plans After I Graduate:
Ultimately, to follow Jesus and His path. I’m still considering whether or not I will attend college for film or business.
How Calvary Has Shaped My Worldview:
Through the constant devotion from the admin and the teachers who commit a lot of time and energy to students in which Biblical principle and values are shown from day one to present. Such an influence has a tremendous impact on how I see things in the world today.
Advice for Students Entering High School:
To be active and speak up. Make your voice known. If you can’t share your voice in an enclosed safe environment like Calvary, how do you expect to share your voice with the outside world where there is a need for justice and truth?
